Warriors: Into The Wild
By: Erin Hunter

Rusty, is a house cat. He has had many dreams about hunting in the forest behind his house. He wakes up on sunny morning, and decides to go for a walk outside. Out side he sees his friend Smudge. Smudges asks him how he is doing, and rusty replies happily. Smudge was scared when Rusty told him he was going into the forest, Smudge thought that the wild cats would eat Rusty. Rusty wasn't scared of the wild cats. So his curiosity was flared to see if they even existed.
The forest is as green as it can be at a time like this. Rusty was wanting to hunt in the forest. He saw a mouse and started his hunt.  As he was hunting, he wasn't aware of a cat near him. That cat made a noise, and alerted Rusty's prey. The cat jumps out of the undergrowth, and starts to fight Rusty. Then all of the sudden the cat stops, and starts to groom himself. Rusty puzzled asks him his name, the cat says Greypaw. Rusty talks to Greypaw, but Greypaw hears something. Out of the brush walks three older cats. Bluestar, Lionheart, and Whitestorm. They talk to Rusty, and Bluestar asks him if he wants to join Thunderclan. A clan of cats that are in the forest. rusty says that he'll think about it, and they tell him to come back the nest day at sun high (noon).
Rusty makes his desision, and joins the clan. He takes on the name Firepaw, and starts to train to be a warrior. During his apprentice days, he goes on many adventures with Greypaw. He then gets into lots of trouble.
I'm not going to give the rest of the book away, but i love how it is written. It has many intense parts that keep me on the edge of my seat. I love how this book is meant for cat lovers, but can turn the hearts of cat haters.
This book is a very good book and i would love to see the people who says its stupid, to say it is amazing. I feel a connection between Firepaw and I, because he isn't afraid to help those in need. That is what makes him a strong cat. I also like how in the book it says, " You can't live with a paw in each world." I like that because it is sayin g that you should live on live, not two.
