Titans Curse

When Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, and Grover go to rescue two half-bloods, Bianca and her younger brother Nico, an unexpected visitor awaits them. While they battle the monster, Artemis and her Hunters come to the rescue. They get the monster to go away, at least for now. During the battle Annabeth fell of a cliff, but Percy has a feeling she is still alive. Artemis must leave Percy and his friends to go track down a very powerful monster. This means her Hunters must stay at Camp Half-Blood to be safe while she is away. Zoe, the attendant to Artemis, feels Artemis is in danger. Chiron, a leader at camp, allows the quest, but they must rescue Artemis before the Winter Solstice. The all knowing Oracle gives a prophecy saying, "Five shall go west to the goddess in chains, One shall be lost in the land without rain, The bane of Olympus shows the trail, Campers and Hunters combined prevail, The Titans Curse must one withstand, And one whall perish by a parents hand." This decides who gets to go on the quest to find Artemis, and hopefully rescue Annabeth. Zoe, Bianca, Thalia, Grover, and another Hunter named Phoebe are chosen to go. When Phoebe gets sick and can't go, they leave with only four. Percy is not allowed to go, but can't help it, so he secretly follows them. They eventually find out Percy is there, but they are not upset he actually helps them a lot. Along the way they face several monsters. Will the prophecy come true? Who dies in the land with no rain? Who withstands the Titans Curse? And who must perish by their parents hand?
I enjoyed reading this book. It was full of great action. I would most definetly recommend not only this book, but the whole series. I rate this book a 9 out of 10. I liked it, but it did seem very similar to the first two books. I am excited to read the rest of the series! My favorite quote from the book was something said by Percy Jackson. He says, "I met her eyes, trying to ask her a thousand questions. There was just one message she was sending me though: RUN."

The Death Cure

WICKED wants to return the gladers memories so they will remember every thing. Thomas is interested in what lays forgotten in his memory but he does not want to remember the person he used to be. WICKED is telling them that the lies are over but Thomas cant trust a word they say. Thomas has to make a decision whether to trust WICKED or face the crank infested world.

I recommend this book to people who are look for adventure, lots of action, and fast past. My favorite quote is "The time for lies is over" I give this book a 8 out of 10.

Chains

The book that i have read is called Chains. It is a very good book and it is pretty sad. What the book is about is a little girl named Isabel and her little sister Ruth, this takes place during the revolutionary war. Isabel is so exited because she thinks that she is free when her Madam dies, but instead her and her sister are sold to one of the meanest families in the whole town. A couple monthes pass while they are living with the new family and Isabel is asked to spy on her family that has information about the war from a slave she does and is sucseful the first time but when her sister is beat brutaly she finds that her loylaty belongs to her sister, and she finds a way for her sister to be free!!! I would recomend this book because it really gives you an idea about what slaves were treated like and it is very heart warming.

The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod

The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod is a book about a fourteen year old boy named Vlad. Vlad isn't any normal old person though, he is actually half vampire. After his parents died in an unexplained house fire accident, Vlad moved in to live with his aunt Nellie. When a strange substitute teacher begins to question Vlad a little to closely, he begins to worry that his cover is about to be blown. Little does Vladimir know, there is a much greater danger about to strike.

I really liked this book, it was a fast read and it was very intense. I would definitely suggest this book, especially for Twilight fans.
