Mickey Bolitar is very smart just like his uncle Myron, in this book, it is going to take all of his determination and help from his friends to protect the people he loves, even if he does not know who or what he is protecting them from. In this book Mickey has to overcome a house that caught on fire, the police and even having a gun pointed right at his head.
"We opened the bag in it was wads of bills and under neath them was bags filled with white powder. We turned around and there was the man with the scar holding a gun right at spoon's chest."
Mickey is smart, quick-witted, great problem solver and clever. He is a junior in high school. He is great at basketball and is 16 years old. I like Mickey because he is great at solving mysteries.
I would recommend this book to everyone it is thrilling and exiting.
So the cover makes it look like it's a pretty serious crime case or mystery to solve. I'm glad to see someone enjoying a different genre. For some reason mysteries don't always get read a lot now, and we have some pretty good ones.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds really intense! I love mysteries and this one seems to have a crime twist to it, which makes it much more thrilling! It is interesting that Mickey seems like such a normal person that is able to solve this big crime/mystery.

I think this book would be great! My favorite kind of book is mystery and fiction. My favorite kinds are ones like these! When people are really smart but not super old or really old at all and can solve really complicated mysteries.
ReplyDeleteThis book sounds really interesting. Mystery is my favorite type of book. I really might read it. I like how he is just a normal person and yet he solves a big mystery/crime.
