Sent
This book is the second book of  Maragret Peterson Haddix's the Missing series. It's all about time travel and putting two and two together.
The main characters in the book Sent are Jonah, Katherine, Chip, Alex, and JB (a time traveling agent.).
This story takes place in the 1500’s. In other words, medieval time where killing was expected over power. The area the story mostly took place in is England.
Katherine, Alex, Jonah, and Chip were sent to the 1500’s to get a chance at fixing history without Chip and Alex being killed, so they can be brought back to their 21st century lives. Chip and Alex almost get murdered in the tower of London when they are connected to their tracers. (Tracers are ghostly figures that project what happened in history the first time around without any time travel interferences.) After Katherine and Jonah saved Chip and Alex in the tower of London they helped them find their mother in the abbey. When they got Chip and Alex to their mother they got to attach to their tracers and Katherine and Jonah tried pulling them out right in front of their mother. Katherine and Jonah broke a time traveling rule when they did that so JB pulled them out of time and made them watch Chip and Alex’s lives for 2 years. Until they were finally allowed to rescue them at a battle they fought for their uncle, King Richard the Third. They couldn’t separate Chip and Alex from their tracers until Katherine told Chip how she wanted him to be her boyfriend. That’s when they were sucked back into the 21st century and were allowed to live regular lives.
I thought the book was good because I could really connect to it. A quote I like from this book is "I think it's safe to say that judging by the time I sent you back, you're um, well..."
"Tell Me!"
"I think you're the king of England."
I like this quote because it's so great when you read that line in the book and you just kind of freak out!

"I think, right now, you're the king of England."

They do not know if this is going to be a good island or if is going to put them to there death.
"This is one bad island" Reese said.

"Dr. King's dream,Which can only come true if the very young know and understand."
-Timothy

The setting of this book is mostly on a island, on a boat and at Phillips house.

I have read this book about 6 times so I really, really like it a lot. It is probably one of my favorite books. It has many emotions happy, sad, depression, etc.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
The book code orange is about a boy named Mitty that lives in the heart of New York City. In the book Mitty loves his city 'he said even after 9/11 he still felt safe and would never be able to find anything wrong with his city." Mitty was a pretty chill guy that did not care about anything like grades. And that is how the story begins, Mitty has left his bio project for the last minute and the only reason he cares about stay in the advanced bio class is because his crush Olivia is in that class. So over the weekend Mitty decided that he should probably start on the project. Well over the weekend while he is at his family weekend house he finds some old medical book in the library. So figures that he will be able to write about one of the old medical book when he comes a cross a strange old envelope!!! The rest of this book is great and full of exicetment and many more surprises!!!

Girl, Stolen

Girl, Stolen
 By: Erin Eastman

Cheyenne begged her step mom, Danielle to leave to keys in. It was freezing. Danielle went to go get Cheyenne's prescription because she had pneumonia and she was blind. She had a sliver of sight in her left eye but it was blurry. She kept dosing off and then she heard the car door open and slam. Then it sped off. That's when she knew it wasn't her step mom, she had been kidnapped.
How was she going to get back to her family? Who are these people? Would they kill me? I need to find a way to escape.

I love this book because it is suspenseful. I love mystery stories. It makes you want to keep reading and you can't put it down without finishing it! I would recommend this book to people who need a good book and that likes twists and turns. It is not scary even though it sound like it from the title. I think my favorite part of the book is when she said she had to go to the bathroom pretends to sneak out the window, but really is just hiding in the bath tub! My favorite quote from this book is "please let me go, i won't tell". Even though it is on the cover page it is very sneaky of her because she tried to get away and the "cop" got all the information about them even though it was one of the kidnappers!

Ranger's Apprentice

The Ranger's Apprentice series is a very fun series
to read and I love it. I am currently reading the fourth
book in the series called "The Battle For Skandia".
The main characters are Will, Halt, Evanlyn, Horace,
And the skandian Erak. Will at the beginning is with Evanlyn in a cabin that they have found in the mountains of Scandinavia. They are hiding out right now from the Scandinavians that have captured them in the passed. Will and Evanlyn were slaves for the skandians. Will took a harmful drug called warm weed and sense then he has had to rest out the warm weed from his body. During the addiction he is week and needs to rest to regain his strength. Evanlyn found Will in the slave area and they escaped with the help of Erak, One of the lead Skandians. Halt and Horace at this time are on the look for Will and Evanlyn and they are getting close. While Evanlyn and Will escape they find a cabin to live in and that is where Will is gaining his strength. Evanlyn one morning goes out to find food. She gets captured by these warriors named the Temujai warriors. Will goes to save her and he does while Halt and Horace find them at this very moment so they save Will and Evanlyn. Later on they encounter Skandians. Temujai are on the hunt for the apprentice and his master, Skandians are with them to help. Temujai are gathering a big force to overtake Skandanavia. Skandians wont go down without a fight but the kingdom of Hollaceholm will have to help them. The kingdom of Hollaceholm is where Will, Horace and Halt come from. Later on, The battle for Skandia is a hectic fight you'll have to read the series to find out! Ages of people that would be a good audience for the book are from the ages of 10 and up! I had a connection with Will, because he cares about others and is nice. He is my favorite character in this series. My favorite quote from this book was "Very impressive, where did you learn that?" Made it up just now". Said by Halt and one of the apprentices.

Mother-Daughter book club by: Heather Vogal Fredrick

Fredrick's Mother daughter book club the realistic fiction book is inspiring and touching story of a group of unlikely friends. This is a story about a group of girls who aren't necessarily friends but they had great while having to go to this book club that Emma's mom makes (the librarian)  and they learn the tips and tricks surviving middle school. None of them are really wanting to go there is Emma her mom is the librarian, Meagan, her mom is the natural enthusiast, Cassidy her mom is a super pretty person who used to be a super model and her dad is dead, Jess and Jess's mom is gone performing in a soap Opera. They read the famous book Little Women and it teaches them life long lessons.

The authors style is very interesting. Through out the book each girl tells what happens in that chapter from their point of view. Then it keeps changing. each chapter it sounds like a teenage girl and I forgot that it was only written by one person! It is very fun when Cassidy talks(The Tom boy) because she is so expressive and I really like it.
I really liked the book and Recommend it to all who need advice about middle school. It is really cute and touching Cassidy once said "What would Jo do." Jo would Read this book!

Killer

Pretty Little Liars #6: Killer By: Sara Shepard

                                                                             Killer.
Killer is the sixth book from the series "Pretty Little Liars" by Sara Shepard.  The main characters are Emily, Aria, Spencer, and Hanna.  The series starts when the girls are in seventh grade at a sleepover.  A few days later, one of their best friends, Allison, mysteriously disappears.  This creates a crisis in the town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania.  About a year or so after Ali's disappearance, her body is found in the woods of Spencer's backyard.  But one question still remains, who killed Ali?  No one knows but Emily, Aria, Spencer, and Hanna are determined to find out who did it.  Before the police found Ali's dead body, the girls began to receive strange messages (texts, notes, emails etc.) all signed by -A.  At first this gives the girls hope because they think it could be their best friend Ali.  The messages are all taunting which makes the girls automatically assume it is Alison because she would use the girl's secrets to black mail them.  After he police find Alison's body, the girls know it wasn't Ali sending those messages.  But wait... Emily, Hanna, Spencer, and Aria areal still receiving messages from this "A" even though Ali is dead... So, who is A?  And who killed Ali?  The girls must work together to find out the most deepest, darkest secrets.

Now the book series Pretty Little Liars has been turned into a hit TV show on ABC Family.  The books and the shows have many similarities but they are also extremely different.  If I were you, I would read the books and watch the show because that's what I do and I love them both!  The show is also called Pretty Little Liars.
